He's fought for the country, fought for Debary, FL, and now he's fighting for his life in the hospital with Covid 19 Delta variant. His wife lies 6 beds down and his daughter and granddaughter are also sick. There will be months in the hospital and rehab and we need to step up and help get Bret and Shirley through this.

Bret served our country and has fought many things in his life, but his heart has been huge for his neighbors in and around Debary. Helping the widow or elderly couple who has a tree down after a storm is a common story that he has repeated many times. His faith in God shows in everything he does. His love for family cannot be described.

I am not a family member, not even the closest of friends, but I have watched Bret's contributions and dedication to his community for years now and felt this was how I could best help them.
