Update: Our nephew Brenton (11) was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Brenton will soon complete what will hopefully be his last round of chemotherapy before his upcoming bone marrow transplant. He was able to enjoy a brief period time at home with family and friends and recently returned to the hospital. Brenton has been an exceptional warrior throughout this process and his spirits remain high. The doctors and staff continue to, work tirelessly to make him as comfortable as they can, while he deals with the symptoms of his treatments.

His sister, Madison will be courageously donating her bone marrow soon for the upcoming transplant. We ask you to keep her in your prayers, as well as Brenton as they prepare themselves to undertake this procedure. His father and mother, Dylan and Jen Adams, continue to be right by Brenton’s side. Jen stays with him every day and Dylan is able to return every weekend after his work week. Brenton is a strong young man because of his parents and he continues to power through, despite these recent hurdles.

As mentioned before, not only does this limit their ability to work but the procedures and treatments, along with gas, food and daily needs are costly. So many family and friends have given so much and the family is so appreciative of your donations, kind words and prayers. We continue asking for friends and family to give what they can, even if it is just a kind word or well wishes. Those who can give monetarily will be contributing to help with medical bills, transportation, and general expenses for their family during this time of need. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
