Help Brent Phelps Fight Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone, Falon here — if you know me, you may know that I don’t ask for help with much, but this is for my dad, and for him I’d do anything.
For a while, my dad has been experiencing chest and stomach pains, and had been to the doctors to figure out what is going on. On June 18th, we got news we never expected to get. My dad has Esophageal cancer. On July 15th, we found out it was Stage 4. He’s not a candidate for surgery now, but with his port going in, he can start chemotherapy to shrink the tumor and check in 1-2 months to see if he can have the surgery.
My dad’s never been the type of person to ask for help, he’d just figure out a way to do it himself. He’s the helper. Him and my mom are the exact same that way, and that’s where all us kids get it from. Always helping anyone whenever they need it. Whenever you need him there, he’s there. Always a phone call away. My dad masked his pain so he could always be in the moment. My dad’s the strongest guy I know- the provider for our family.
However, we are requesting your help. All donations will go directly toward ensuring that he can recover and battle his cancer without financial worries, covering expenses like groceries, rent, utility bills, and expenses to and from appointments, etc..
As we continue to navigate this obstacle that life has thrown our way, know that your contribution (whether emotional or monetary) will help us feel less lonely and better equipped to keep going forward — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
