Help Brent, Our Hometown Hero

Hi... My name is Michelle, I am asking for your help for my dear friend Brent Curran. Brent was diagnosed with colorectal cancer on April 10th 2024, as one would imagine this came as quite a surprise and life itself changed just like that. Brent and his wife Malia and their family are on a journey they never thought they would be on especially with Brent just being 48 years old. Brent is a fulltime Sheriff Deputy in our county and is now out of work for an undetermined amount of time. This is a real struggle for anyone, with both of them employed at the Sheriff's office Malia has tried to work in between appointments and now they will be traveling to the City of Hope Cancer Treatment Center in Chicago IL for a treatment or "Battle Plan" the doctors will be conducting multiple tests, he has 2 large masses in his colon, masses surrounding his liver and kidneys and possibly rectal issues as well. It will be decided which treatment is best and in what order. With all the missed work, travel expenses and food and necessities while they are there it will/has taken a HUGE financial toll on them.
