On September 10, 2016 my childhood friend, Brent Green, was still feeling a little sick and checked into St. Luke's Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas just to make sure all was well with him.
Turns out Brent was diagnosed with Leukemia. I visited Brent, and have been in constant communication since. We have talked about a lot of things since Hodges Bend Middle School & Stephen F. Austin High School that we cannot see through our daily interactions on Facebook. One thing I continued to tell him is that I know he is strong, and I know you do not want to ask for help, but now is not the time for that! Many hands make light work and recited the following to him during my visit.
Ecclesiastes 4:9 - Two people are better than one because together they have a good reward for their hard work
After some persuasion by me he finally agreed that we could try to at least help him reach his Insurance responsibility of $3,300 plus what ever more we can donate.
On September 10, 2016 we had no idea our friend would still be sick on October 12, 2016. Please keep in mind that the physical, mental, spiritual, and financial timeline to this obstacle is unknown. Please be generous let's help Brent surpass the minimum goal set.
