Help Brent and Mandy Find a New Home After Tragic Loss

Dear Friends and Community,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help for Brent and Mandy. I've known Brent for 27 years and this is the first time he’s ever reached out for help.

Tragedy has struck their family in unimaginable ways, recently. On November 19, Mandy's 24-year-old daughter, Jade, was killed in a car accident. Jade is Mandy’s second child she has lost to a car accident. Jade leaves behind her precious daughter, Evee, who just turned 2 on December 4th. Brent and Mandy have been living with Jade and Evee, sharing a loving home with their granddaughter and rebuilding their lives and their family in Florida. They had finally moved in together and were so happy; losing Jade feels like losing the glue that held their family together, losing the North Star by which they navigated and one of their very best friends.

To make matters worse, the lease for their home was in Jade's name, and it cannot be transferred to Brent and Mandy. They now face the daunting task of finding a new home and moving by the end of the month. They need to secure first and last month's rent, a deposit, and cover moving expenses, all within 21 days. The total amount needed is $5,000.

Brent and Mandy have endured so much loss and hardship. They are now at risk of losing housing and need support more than ever. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping them secure a new place to live and provide stability and a home where they can rebuild their lives and their family.
