Help Brent and Callie Turn the Page

Hello and thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this. My name is Brent and my fiancé Callie (known to many of you as hyena_cyclone) and I need a hand.

In May of '23 I made the decision to head out to Pennsylvania to pursue a career as a painter and drywaller after meeting Callie. During this time of upheaval I unexpectedly lost my mother on 12/3/23 to complications from cancer treatment (melanoma). Since her death I have had no contact from any family. It was during this time we spent four months living in our car through the Erie, PA winter as we got our business off the ground. Since this time we have found housing and grown our business, KBV Painting, considerably.

Unfortunately, for the last two months, Callie has been sidelined with a blown rotator cuff and bicep tendon tear and the company providing much of our work has ceased utilizing subcontractors. We have worked so hard to get to a stable place despite the trauma and loss we've experienced recently. If you know either of us personally you know how much we have overcome. All we are asking for is a bit of gas and grocery money as we don't even have the funds to fill the car up to get to medical appointments or job leads.
