**update: Following the house fire, and before my brother could go back in to get what little they could save. People broke in to the house, cars in the driveway and the garage, taking what they had left (blackstone grill, bikes, lawnmower, chest and cabinets from Kate mom and trashing the boxes the firemen saved of Kate’s moms photo album and obituary.

They have received many clothes donations and others have reached out with other furniture donations. A friend of theirs was looking to get a storage unit to help with any donations those are offering as they have limited space. Please continue to reach out or share their story!

I’m reaching out for support from family, friends and the community: On August 4th 2025, my brother Brennen, sister-in-law Kate, niece and nephew’s lives all changed in a blink of an eye. They lost everything in a house fire and were only able to get out with the clothes they were wearing. Thankfully everyone is safe and ok (the dog is ok but keeping an eye on the cat who needed some help after) but the fire has taken their home that held many memories there such as annual Christmas parties, raising both kids, keepsakes that Kate’s mom left her and their car which was also burned.

As they stay with family, they are still in need of replacing the basic necessities, clothes, transportation etc.

Any donation would mean so much and help them rebuild their lives after the loss.
