Support Brenna's Mission To Win The Miss ECU Scholarship

My name is Brenna Patchin, and I am a freshman at East Carolina University competing in the Crown Me Pageant for the title of Miss ECU. I am raising funds for the scholarships awarded to participants. I hope to win the Miss ECU scholarship to support my bachelor’s and master’s degrees as I pursue a career as a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in sensory integration. Winning this scholarship would help reduce my student loans, enabling me to focus on my education.

Beyond financial support, winning Miss ECU would provide a platform to advocate for my cause: supporting first responders. With my dad and friends serving as police officers and others close to me working as firefighters and EMS responders, I recognize the intense demands and life-threatening risks associated with these professions. Ten percent of any scholarship funds I receive will be donated to the First Responders Foundation to show my appreciation. Through public speeches, fundraising events, volunteer work, and by growing the platform that comes with winning Miss ECU, I aim to advocate for and honor the emergency services of first responders.
