Our family is heartbroken to share that Jason Chapman, a loving husband, devoted father, and kindhearted friend, passed away far too young after a long and difficult battle with congestive heart failure.

For the past two years, Jason fought with everything he had. He was in and out of the hospital, undergoing treatments and facing the mounting challenges of heart failure. As his condition worsened, he was forced to leave his physically demanding job for one with fewer hours. Despite his determination to keep providing for his family, the medical bills continued to grow — and tragically, every attempt he made to secure life insurance was denied due to his diagnosis.

Jason was a devoted father who always put family first. Brenna and his children miss the warmth and joy he brought to their daily lives.

Now, his wife, Brenna, is left to raise their two teenage children on her own.

This loss is especially painful because Brenna knows this journey all too well. She lost her own mother at just 16, and her father shortly after graduating from college. Now, her children are nearly the same age she was when tragedy struck her family. The cycle of loss is repeating — and we want to help ensure it does not also become a cycle of hardship.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Jason provided half the family's income. With his passing, Brenna is also having to take on a lighter workload, as she sustained a knee injury just before Jason’s passing. She may need surgery and is uncertain how long she will need to take work leave, which would be unpaid as a contracted employee. Brenna and the kids will be struggling to cover everyday expenses. Their home, medical bills, utilities, groceries, and the basic stability every child deserves are all suddenly at risk.

Our goal is to:

• Help pay medical bills left behind after Jason’s long illness

• Provide financial stability so Brenna and the children can remain in their home

• Ensure both children can confidently continue through high school and graduate

• Relieve the immediate pressure of monthly living expenses during this unimaginable transition
