Help Brenda's Family Through This Tough Time

Hi! Our coworker Brenda is facing a storm right now as her young daughter was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I’m starting this GoFund me because I know the expenses this will bring her family, especially since she is taking time off work to take care of her. I want her to feel and know we are here for her, and to help ease one of the stressors that comes with this fight.

Brenda has been a wonderful coworker of mine for many years. She’s worked in ICU for at LEAST the 13 years I did and worked tirelessly during COVID. She is an excellent nurse and wonderful person who has been there for so so many people. It is time we show up for her.

Any and all donations will be given to Brenda for medical costs and any money lost while taking off work. If you prefer to do so in person you may also give donations to Marlen in ICU if you work at Houston Methodist. Every dollar adds up and every bit helps.

Please also lift her and her family in prayers. She is a very private person and does not ever ask for help, but as much as she has given to so many patients, friends, family, she deserves to get some help sometimes too.
