Help Brendan Wilson’s parents lay him to rest
Donation protected
August 18, 2024, will forever be cemented as the darkest day for so many of us who had not only had the pleasure of knowing and loving Brendan Wilson, but also the grief and heartache of having to say goodbye. Brendan was taken from us way too soon, none of us could prepare for his passing. Brendan loved tennis and football, his girlfriend Alyssa, his brothers Evan, Ben, Kaleb, and Joshua, sisters, Annabelle, Maddison, and Kennedy. Many many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. But most of all he loved life, he lived it to the fullest! He always made time for others. It’s our turn to honor him and make time for him!!
No parents should ever have to bury a child, nor should they have to plan for it financially. The goal here is to ease the financial burden for Brendan’s parents, Steven & Janell, in any way possible. They deserve to be able to lay their son to rest with the freedom to grieve. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go 100% to the parents to pay for funeral expenses. If you cannot give financially, we ask that you give prayers for the family, and friends who witnessed the tragic event.
All little background on what happened.
What began as a fun weekend between friends, ended in tragedy Sunday evening in Munson, Michigan when Brendan, in true Brendan fashion, put his own safety aside to help a friend struggling in the water. Soon he found himself in trouble and tragically drowned. His amazing friends performed CPR until EMS arrived to take over and rush him to the hospital. They continued life-saving measures at the hospital but Brendan had already left this world and went on to join his uncle Matt and grandma Renee, whom he loved so much.
