Help Brendan through his cancer journey
Donation protected
Please help us support my son, Brendan and his wife Taylor, as they continue his battle with brain cancer. Brendan was first diagnosed with a diffuse astrocytoma in 2017 at the age of 20. He has undergone 3 craniotomies. When the first surgery paralyzed him completely on the left, he worked very hard to regain the ability to walk and care for himself and we are so proud of how far he came back, but he will never fully regain strength and feeling on his left side. He also suffers from seizures and memory loss, etc. so he is unable to work.
Brendan has been fighting so courageously, with humor, resilience, and the most positive attitude through the last almost 7 years. We couldn’t be more proud of how he’s handled this diagnosis every step of the way. He never asks for anything, but sadly Brendan’s cancer has progressed in the last few months and he is starting 6 weeks of daily radiation followed by a year of chemotherapy. We were truly hoping he could have another surgery to reduce the side effects of the cancer, but it’s too dangerous so the surgeons do not recommend it.
We don’t know all the unexpected costs that will arise, but would really like to ensure that they are able to feel financially stable through it all. Contributions will go towards things such as medical bills, travel expenses, possible missed work for Taylor if Brendan isn’t feeling well, living expenses, fertility costs to ensure that they can start a family when they choose, etc.
Please join us in our effort to make this journey even a fraction easier, and to ensure that Brendan and Taylor can focus on quality time together knowing the love and support they have around them. Thank you!
