Help Brendan get back to France

tl;dr: Got into a Master's program in France, rented an apartment, visa hasn't come (4 weeks later) and have to get a new plane ticket to return to France. Running out of money while waiting for visa.
So, in June I found out that I got into a Masters program (in France!) to study foreign language teaching and linguistics. Since I was already in France, I went apartment shopping, found a place, and moved all of my stuff in. Started the visa process, and they told me I had to go to Washington. So there I was, during a pandemic, finding a flight back to the USA.
Finally back in the States, I did the interview, turned in the paperwork and my passport, and here I am, 4 weeks later, with no sign of life from the consulate. I now have to get a new flight to France, and although I've purchased a SIM card to be able to teach online through hotspot, the number of students has decreased, so class bookings are lower than usual.
It's a lot to ask for money during a pandemic, but anything you have, $5, $10, even $20 would help so much. I just want to go home.
