Help Brendan complete his final year at Columbia!

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters. I am on the final stretch of an incredible educational journey! I am entering my senior year at the illustrious Columbia University, in New York City, but currently attending summer sessions at Austin Community College to complete my Associate degree by the end of this summer. One may think this is small relative to the degree that is to come next spring; however, this milestone will be a full circle moment for me, because it completes my dual-credit curriculum, started as an award-winning student-athlete. Simply put, I wanted to finish what I started. The road to achieving my dreams has been filled with triumphs as well as challenges. I am reaching out for your support to help me with the current challenge of crossing the finish line.  Here’s how your generosity will make a significant difference: 1. Completing My Associate Degree: I am committed to finishing my summer sessions strong and earning my associate degree. 2. Traveling for Potential Employment Opportunities: As I prepare to enter the job market, I plan to travel to meet with potential employers. Safe and Focused Living Arrangements: To minimize distractions and stay focused on my studies, I have chosen to live off-campus. This decision is especially important to avoid on-site protests that have become common across university campuses - ensuring I can study and learn in a peaceful environment. 4. Increased Attendance Costs: The cost of attendance for my last year is estimated to be more than $95K.
