Brenda went in for surgery on December 10, 2025, to remove part of her pancreas and her spleen due to cysts that destroyed part of her pancreas. By the end of the day, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pancreatic peritoneal cancer stage 4. She will start chemo as soon as the original incision is healed.

Brenda and her family will need money for expenses that are not covered by insurance, gas for trips to and from chemo/doctor visits, lost work time, and unexpected expenses that come up at a very difficult time such as this. Brenda is a proud person and we had to do some convincing to persuade her to allow a GoFundMe page! She does a lot for others, and now it is time for us to do something for her.
