Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m raising funds for my cousin, Brenda Santiago. Brenda was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at just 26 years old. She is now in her 50s, and for decades she has faced this disease with remarkable strength, faith, and grace. Today, Brenda is completely wheelchair-bound and bedridden, yet her spirit remains unshaken. If you know Brenda, you know her heart. She has always carried a positive attitude, constantly encouraging others, spreading love, light, and hope — even while quietly enduring her own struggles. She rarely complains and remains deeply grateful for every moment she is given. Her joy and kindness have touched so many lives.

As if MS were not enough, Brenda is now facing another major medical challenge. Her doctors have determined that she needs to have a kidney removed, adding overwhelming medical costs to an already heavy burden. Hospital stays, specialists, medications, in-home care, and now major surgery have caused medical bills to escalate beyond what her family can manage. They have exhausted all available avenues of assistance, yet the need continues to grow.

This fundraiser is to help cover medical bills related to MS and kidney surgery, hospitalization and specialist care, in-home medical care and equipment, medications and follow-up treatments, and basic living expenses so her family can focus on her care.
