Help Brenda Rebuild After Fire Tragedy

Hello, my name is Brenda. I am a single mother living in Houston, TX. On May 14th, at approximately 5:30 AM, we were woken up to people screaming that there was a fire. The entire building had to be evacuated. It slowly started on the opposite end of me and quickly reached my apartment. We lived on the top floor, so everything was immediately burned down; floors caved in downstairs. The fire went on for about 5 more hours before completely being put out.

We are completely devastated. We had just moved to Texas and had only been living here for 2 months and have lost everything. We have lost every single thing down to my identification, documents, and clothes. We were left with nothing but the clothes we already had on our backs and shoes on our feet. Please help me and my kids raise money to leave Houston, replace things that insurance isn’t, and head back near family.
