"End of life care"
4 words you just don't expect or want to hear in regards to your 57 year old Momma.
But, here we are, planning her "end of life care".
Originally, the hope was to get her home, where she is most comfortable, where she has her dog Baxter, where there aren't any visitor restrictions, etc.
However, her condition has declined rapidly over just the past 24 hrs and we, along with her medical team, have decided in patient hospice is the best option at this point to keep her the most comfortable + that is our ultimate goal.
Due to the impending weather they are arranging a transport asap and we hope to have her settled in soon. Visitor restrictions will be less restrictive there, so I will update once we feel she might be ready for some visitors.
The outpouring of love, prayers + support we have received has meant the world to us and I just can't put into words how much it means. Please continue to pray for her peace + comfort.
Our hope is in Jesus, and we continue to look to Him in all this darkness.
Bailey McBride + I are so grateful to be here with her right now, and I am so thankful to have snapped this picture of us holding her hands... we love you so much Momma ❤
This was written by Brenda’s son and daughter today. I found out today Brenda has no life insurance. Please help this family.
