Brenda has been my dear friend for 44 years, and she’s always been someone who faced life’s challenges with courage. Recently, her world was turned upside down when her beloved husband, Butch—affectionately known as Big Daddy—passed away suddenly. On top of this heartbreaking loss, Brenda is battling Lupus and living on a small monthly check, making it nearly impossible for her to cover the costs of a proper burial for Butch.

Their journey has been incredibly tough. Not long ago, Brenda and Butch lost their home to devastating hurricanes and found themselves homeless. Despite these hardships, they leaned on each other and their faith to keep going. Now, with Brenda’s health struggles and the sudden loss of her husband, she is facing more than anyone should have to bear alone.
