My name is Brenda Thorne and I am 62 years old.

I am in pretty bad shape and need help. Having always been the helper, I don't really know how to ask for it and have waited too long to do so.

For almost the last two years, I have not been able to find permanent full-time work. I am actively looking for work every day and doing delivery jobs when I can, but it does not pay all the bills. I am quite behind in rent and have received an eviction notice and have no money and no place to go. I am looking into programs for rental assistance and help with the eviction.

I only owe about $2,100 on the car and it will be paid off, then I can reduce car insurance from full coverage to basic. The car also needs repairs so I can keep looking and have transportation to work, and I may have to travel longer distances to do that, so that's what I am asking for help with now.

Funds will be used to pay off the car and get much-needed repairs done. Anything extra will help me, and hopefully, if I get to keep the cats, figure out our living situation.
