Help Brenda get to the LPGA

Hello everyone!

For those who don’t know me, my name is Brenda Gonzalez and I am a professional golfer. I am from Torreon, Mexico and I am currently based out of Dallas, TX. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2017 and I have been playing on the Epson Tour (formerly known as Symetra Tour) and mini-tours ever since. I will have Epson Tour (Road to LPGA tour) status for this year, but because of my placing at stage 2 of LPGA Qualifying School there is a chance that I will not get in the first few events so I will also play in some Women’s All Pro Tour events to start out my year. My dream has always been to play in the LPGA and I am only one step away from achieving this. Achieving a dream this big always comes with great supporters along the way. As some of you know, playing professional golf is very expensive. You have to pay for entry fees, airfare, rental cars, caddie fees, and hotels. It is very difficult to go at it on my own, therefore, I am looking for some financial help to play the entire 2022 season in order to achieve my goal of playing on the LPGA Tour.

The beginning of the season is just around the corner, it is scheduled to start the first week of March, and any contribution will help me finance my tournament expenses. I am incredibly thankful for having supporters like you. No donation is too small and even sharing this website would be extremely helpful for me.

This is a list of expenses per tournament:

WAPT entry fees: $595 USD

Epson Tour entry fees: $450 USD

Hotel: $300 USD (I always try to look for host housing but it is limited due to COVID)

Car rental: $250 USD

Airfare: $300 USD

Caddie: $800 USD

It is approximately $2,150 USD per tournament and this is without taking into account food and gas. I’m planning on playing approximately 21 tournaments this season, if my budget allows it.

Hola a todos!

Para los que aún no me conocen, mi nombre es Brenda González y soy golfista profesional. Soy originaria de Torreón, Coah y actualmente estoy viviendo en Dallas, Tx. Empecé a jugar profesionalmente cuando me gradué de la Universidad de Central Arkansas en el 2017; Desde entonces he jugado en el Epson Tour (previamente llamado Symetra Tour) y en “mini-tours”. Este año jugaré la mayoría de los torneos del Epson Tour, sin embargo, por mi posición final al terminar la escuela de clasificación a la LPGA, tendré que empezar mi temporada jugando unos pocos torneos del Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT).

Al participar en el Epson Tour me encuentro a un solo paso de cumplir mi sueño de obtener mi tarjeta de la LPGA. Para logar un sueño tan grande como este, es necesario contar con gente que me apoye en mi trayecto. Como muchos de ustedes sabrán, jugar golf profesional en las giras de ascenso es muy caro y las ganancias muy bajas. Los gastos mas fuertes son inscripciones a torneos, vuelos, hoteles, rentas de carro y caddie. Estos costos son muy altos para cubrirlos por mi misma, por eso estoy buscando ayuda financiera y así poder jugar la mayor cantidad de torneos de este año y lograr mi sueño de subir a la LPGA.

Con mi temporada 2022 programada parara empezar la primera semana de Marzo, les pido su ayuda con alguna contribución para ayudar a financiar mis torneos de este año. Agradezco tener gente que me apoye como tu, ninguna donación es demasiado chica, incluso si no puedes contribuir económicamente, compartir esta pagina sería de gran ayuda para mi.

Inscripciones WAPT: $595 USD
