Help Brenda Find Healing from CRPS: A Journey Towards Remission
Dear Friends and Family,
I’m writing to you today on behalf of my dear friend, Brenda Steinberger-Domienik, a truly remarkable woman who has been courageously battling Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a devastating condition that began in her leg and has now spread to her arm and shoulder.
For months, Brenda has endured countless doctor visits, tests, and struggles in search of a diagnosis, and she was eventually confirmed to have CRPS. This diagnosis hit me particularly hard because I’ve seen firsthand how devastating this disease can be, as a relative of mine also suffered from it and passed away recently. CRPS, often referred to as “the suicide disease,” is one of the most excruciating pain conditions known to humanity. Brenda’s daily experience is one of relentless, searing pain, like being burned from the inside out, and even pain medications offer little to no relief. Her sleep is severely limited—often no more than three to four hours each night.
The onset of Brenda's CRPS began after a fall about a year and a half ago, and since then, the condition has progressively worsened. Despite seeing numerous specialists, the pain continues to intensify, leaving Brenda limited ability to work or carry out normal daily activities since July of 2024.
Determined to find a solution, Brenda has been researching potential treatments and connecting with others who suffer from CRPS. Through her efforts, she discovered the Holistic Centered Treatment Clinic in Boise, Idaho, a place that offers hope through a comprehensive, whole-body approach to healing. The clinic has offered to provide Brenda with the treatment she desperately needs, but the cost is significant—ranging from $12,000 to $15,000—plus travel and accommodation expenses. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover these costs.
I’m reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping Brenda access this life-changing treatment.
Brenda has always been a lively, joyful, and uplifting person who brings so much light and laughter to those around her. But CRPS has taken so much from her—her health, her energy, and her ability to enjoy life. With your help, we can support her in getting back on the path to healing.
Your donations, no matter the size, will go directly towards covering her treatment, travel, and lodging expenses. If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing Brenda’s story with others or reaching out to her with words of encouragement. Every act of kindness will make a difference in her journey.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Brenda’s story and for any support you can offer. It means the world to her, as well as her family & friends, as we work to give her back the life she deserves.
