Brenda De Leon is one of the strongest, most caring people you could ever meet. For over 20 years she has poured her heart into her landscaping business (Peak Landscaping), treating every customer like family while always putting her loved ones and friends first.

But just a short time ago, everything changed. Out of nowhere, Brenda was diagnosed with Neuro-Lyme Disease, a severe form of Lyme that attacks the central nervous system. In only a few days, she went from being healthy, active, and hardworking — hiking, working out, and running her business — to being unable to walk independently, eat on her own, or do the things she loves.

She has spent over a week in the hospital and is now in an acute rehab center, fighting every day to regain her balance, coordination, and independence. Those who know Brenda know she is determined and resilient, but recovery will take time — and during this time, she can’t run her business the way she always has.

Our family is raising funds to help Brenda with:

• Ongoing medical and rehab expenses not fully covered by insurance

• Basic living costs and expenses

• Business expenses and operational costs, so she can sustain the company she has built and return to it when she’s stronger
