Long time BBSC member Brenda Crabbe, commonly known as the “shirt Goddess; I.E., our sailing club quartermaster is experiencing a housing nightmare. Her small house has been eaten by termites, even though she had an exterminator, the floors/joists, walls and even the ceiling is infested. Because of the age of the structure it didn't have a “termite bond” which would have covered and facilitated repairs. Major demolition and rebuilding of most of the interior is required and it will be all at her expense!

Accordingly, I am encouraging our “piece of paradise” members to open your wallets and let a few moths out to help with this problem. Spread the word among your friends and social media for this worthy endeavor!
