Help Brenda Bollom medical needs

Hey family & friends !

I’m writing as you know I was in a coma for 70 days & had to learn to walk & talk & live again & that was 20 years ago. Since then I have endure many medical issues from being on the ventilator- respirator & jest tubes.

I was unable to go ack to work & I am on disability & it does not pay well at all. But I can’t work under my medical conditions as I live day by day.

I have been on steroids off & on these entire 10 years due to my lungs being damaged so bad. I take numerous breathing treatments a day as well as medications & I have a piccline that I go into the drs office & receive infusions.

Lately I have been diagnosed with a new condition called Granulomatosis with polyangiitis along with all of my COPD & severe lung issues.

Recently I was admitted to the hospital for a week as my oxygen level kept dropping at home & had to be taken by ambulance- on the way my level dropped to a 40 which placed a lot of stress on my heart.

I am having some testing done on my heart next week. If my heart is not damaged I will be seeing a specialist to see about having a lung transplant.

If you would like to make a donation to us it would be greatly appreciated to help us with the bills so I would be able to have the lung transplant.

Thank you again for all of your prayers - texts - calls that you have provided to me & my family. Never did I think at 54 years old I would have almost died 3 times but by the grace of God - my drs & all the prayers I have made it through. I’m not going to lie it’s been a struggle but I will continue to fight as long as I can.

I will keep you posted on my progress but please just pray that I will be the perfect candidate for the transplant.
