My name is Brenda and I live and work in Goldsboro. My mom just passed away, in Nebraska. We just visited her over Spring Break, but now we need to return to Nebraska to plan her funeral and get her affairs in order. I am only able to afford to go home once a year, and that is with my tax refund. Otherwise, I live paycheck to paycheck and don't have savings to fall on :( I don't have any rich relatives or a sugar daddy, so I am desperate to ask complete strangers to help me and my 2 teenagers get home to say good-bye to the warrior who raised me. My plans are to drive there (1400 miles), so I would need money for gas, food on the road, a couple nights at hotels, while traveling, and then a place to stay while in my hometown. We usually stay at an AirBnB that is in walking distance of my grandma's house that allows the kids to have their space. My family doesn't have the space to keep us with them.
