My name is Erin. The lovely lady in the picture is my mother-in-law, Brenda. My husband and I had to make an emergency trip to FL from where we live in TN because she had a medical emergency. She was found to be confused, disoriented, and hallucinating. It has been determined she has a brain infection. They did get her on treatment, but the damage may be done and irreversible. They have also determined she may have dementia based on the living conditions she was found in.

Being we lived out of state, we had no idea things were this bad. My husband had to go back to work, but we decided one of us needed to stay. She didn't have a POA, so we had to pay for an attorney to get guardianship so we can manage her assets in order to help her.

The problem now is that we are managing everything possible to help her, and I do not have what I need to pay my own bills. We plan to move her in with us, and when I get home, I'll work towards an at-home job, but for now, I could really use some help. I hate asking, but I don't wanna lose everything we've worked for. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't make enough to pay our bills on his own. I know this is where God wants me to be. I know I'm in the right place, but I can only manage so much. Anything will help.
