Help Brenda and Carrol Rebuild After Fire

On behalf of Bombay Boat Rental, we are setting up a GoFundMe for our Lodge Superior, Brenda Rivera and her mother Carrol. Brenda and her two dogs (Izzy and Chewy) have recently moved in with her mother to help with day-to-day chores. For the people that know Brenda, they know that she or her mother would give the clothes off their back to help someone in any way they could. Brenda has worked at Bombay for 5 years now and has recently made the 1.5-hour trip to move in with her mom. Her plan is to help get her mother's house in tip-top condition to be able to sell and then move back to the lake by next summer.

However, in the dead of the night on October 10th, 2024, they were awoken by a loud popping sound and stunned to learn the whole back of their house was on fire. They were able to get out and call 911 to dispatch fire and emergency. Carrol has still not been released from the hospital as of 10/11/2024 at 9:19 AM and is undergoing treatment. Brenda and her mother have gotten a hotel room for the next two nights but are at a loss with some basic need items. She is not the type of person to ask for help, but not knowing when they will be able to even get back into their home or stay there is a big stress. To anyone that would like to donate, please do. They would greatly appreciate it. Anything donated will be used to buy basic clothing, food, hotels, and basic hygiene products.
