Back in June, my big sister Brionna had to go in for surgery for a severe case of endometriosis. The mass had grown to six times the regular size, so surgery was absolutely necessary. They were able to remove the mass, save one of her ovaries and she was on her way to recovery. Unexpectedly, she was admitted to the hospital on 8/15/22 for severe discomfort. After a CT scan as well as an ultrasound, the doctor found that endometric cysts had started forming on her other ovary and were the cause of her discomfort and she was rushed into emergency surgery to stop any further damage. Due to the unexpected surgery, medical expenses and now loss of work, we're trying to raise enough to be able to help alleviate some of the financial stress during recovery and to get her started on paying her medical bills.
