HELP A WITCH OUT!
Our beloved friend, Bree Rose, suffered a bad fall that resulted in the fracture of her lumbar spine in three places. On Sunday, November 2nd, Bree was preparing for a sound bath session with a client when her feet slipped from under her going down a set of stairs. Despite being in an incredible amount of pain, she did not expect a serious injury had occurred until a CT scan hours later proved otherwise.
The good news: the breaks in her back do not appear to require surgery to heal at this point.
The bad news: The injury requires bedrest for a prolonged period and very minimal movement as she progresses in her healing for upwards of a month.
If you know Bree, you know that she works hard, works on her feet, and puts her whole self into her practices- community advocacy, doula education, grief support, art&music, and much more. Bree is a mother to a wonderful kid, and with SNAP benefits being in question, this injury puts even more strain on their household. In order to meet Bree’s basic needs and expenses while being out of work, we are calling on the community to donate what you can in support of our beautiful friend who we have always been able to count on.
We will keep this page updated as more information becomes available. There is some uncertainty with any healing process, and we don’t know what medical expenses will be incurred from the Emergency Room visit just yet.
No donation is too small, but if you are unable to support monetarily, sharing this fundraiser and sending healing wishes are very appreciated.
Thank you,
Vi
UPDATE 11/5/2025
Wow! Thank you to everyone for coming through for Bree. The response to this fundraiser has far exceeded what we had expected. At Bree's request I am closing the gofundme to donations since we have surpassed our goal. However if you find this page and still feel compelled to contribute in some way please get in touch. She has already posted this, but, in case you missed it, she is welcoming snail mail to help keep her busy reading while she is healing. Thank you again for helping. It's magical to witness such a strong community response (and so quickly!!) to support such a special person.
