Hi, my name is Bree. I am 35 years old and recently lost 161 lbs from gastric bypass. What they don't tell you enough is how much skin you will have. Mine is causing me pain every day. It's heavy, and my arms look like I'm melting. I Have about 3 to 6 Lbs of skin in my abdomen. I'm very depressed because I want to get my skin removed. I lost this weight to be healthy for my 4 kids and husband, but now I feel like a prisoner all over again. I've talked to my primary, and insurance may not cover the removal; they see it as cosmetic. Update: I went to the doctor and my insurance will not cover it. It will be 12k for procedure and any medical supplies I will need.
