Help Bree Fight Cancer

2016 has been a year of ups and downs for Bree Sutton (Kulis) and her family. In July they welcomed baby Camille into the family. Two months into Bree's maternity leave a large lump appeared on her neck. Through a series of testing it was identified as thyroid cancer.
After the surgery to remove the lump, Bree's doctors found that the cancer was a rare form more likely to spread quickly and be resistant to treatment. After the second surgery where over 100 lymph nodes were removed, and where the doctors were hoping to get it all, more cancer was discovered in her chest and armpit.
Bree will be undergoing radiation treatment with the hopes that it will remover the remainder of the cancer. If it does not, she will need more rounds of radiation and more surgery.
Parenting brings it's fair amount of challenges WITHOUT cancer, especially with preschool twins and an infant. This process has been exhausting for Bree and Evan. Bree is currently living in Minnesota with her parents to help with child care while Evan continues to work and live in Alaska.
Navigating insurance has brought financial and emotional challenges for the family. Funding will allow the deductible to be paid and will assist with the family's bills while Bree is unable to work.
If one of us is sick, we are all sick. Let's join forces to support this beautiful family and help them through this time.
Bree and Evan express their gratitude for all the community support.
