It was a normal night—until everything changed in a matter of minutes. Around 11:00 PM, I had just sat down to eat dinner. By 11:20 PM, my dad, Brian, and my stepmom, Jackie, woke up and saw that our back porch was on fire. That's where it all began. Jackie came running through the front door yelling, "Bre! Y'all get out of the house! The house is on fire!" Without hesitation, I grabbed the kids—ages 3, 6, and 8—and carried them outside. I got them into the car and drove them down our long driveway to get them away from the smoke and danger. Within minutes, everything we knew was gone. My boyfriend, Darrell, arrived home shortly after the fire department, but by then the damage was devastating. We lost our home and nearly all of our belongings. We are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely. That is what matters most. But now we are facing the reality of starting over. We are asking for help to cover necessities, clothing, housing, and to begin rebuilding our lives after this devastating loss. If you are able to help in any way, it would mean more than we can express. If not, please consider sharing our story. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support—it truly means everything to us.
