UPDATE 12/8/2024:
Dear friends, family, and supporters,

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news that Breanna Rein passed away on December 8th, 2025. Breanna fought bravely through her challenges, always showing incredible strength, resilience, and love to all who knew her. She leaves behind a lasting impact on every life she touched.

Breanna’s spirit, kindness, and unwavering positivity will never be forgotten. During her time with us, she inspired so many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the countless people she reached through her journey.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported Breanna and her loved ones during this difficult time. Your generosity, prayers, and love meant the world to her and continue to provide comfort as we navigate this loss.

Thank you once again for your continued support, and for keeping Breanna’s memory alive. Please continue to offer support to her wonderful husband, William and her two beautiful girls, Camden and Laiken (ages 12 and 7). They need all the support they can get and are welcoming the love with opened arms.

With love and gratitude,
Brittany Lakin

UPDATE 11/29/24: Breanna was released from the hospital. She is currently staying at her friend's house. A meal train has been offered to be set up, so be on the lookout for that soon once they figure out what foods will be best for them. They both say THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has contributed via go fund me or V.e . n.m.o, and those who have shared, offered meals and offered help in any way. They need continued support down this long road since neither of them will be working for at least the next 6 months or so!

UPDATE 11/26/24: Breanna has now been hospitalized with a possible transfer to Denver for her lungs. Breanna is stressing over how Will can pay the bills and keep taking care of Camden and Laiken. PLEASE HELP.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Brittany Lakin, and I am Breanna’s best friend. It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out to you today to share the difficult news that my incredible friend, Breanna Rein, is battling cancer for the second time this year. After bravely fighting colon cancer and going into remission earlier in 2024, she has now been diagnosed with lung cancer. This is an unimaginable blow for Breanna, her husband William Rein, and their two young daughters, Camden and Laiken.

Breanna is a true force of nature—she’s always there for others, lifting up everyone around her with her kindness, her compassion, and her unshakeable positivity. Whether she’s sending uplifting gifts, offering a helping hand, or simply being the most loving and supportive friend, Breanna has made a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know her. Now, it’s time for us to come together and support her as she faces this devastating challenge.

Breanna and her husband are both entrepreneurs, and like many small business owners, they don’t have the safety net of a traditional job or insurance to fall back on. With Breanna’s health taking priority, she is unable to work, and her husband is doing his best to manage their businesses and care for her, all while caring for their two beautiful daughters, ages 7 and almost 12. The financial strain is overwhelming, with medical bills and daily living expenses piling up.

This is where we need your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to helping Breanna and her family cover medical expenses, bills, and other urgent needs during this difficult time. Your support will give them one less thing to worry about as Breanna focuses on her recovery and healing.

How You Can Help:

Send love and prayers: Breanna has always shown up for others, and now it’s our turn to show up for her with love, encouragement, and positive thoughts.

How Your Donation Will Help:

Medical expenses and cancer treatment costs
Living expenses for Breanna’s family while she is unable to work
Caregiving support for Breanna’s husband as he balances his business and caring for their daughters
Ensuring Breanna’s daughters are well cared for during this difficult time
Breanna has always been the first to show up for others, to offer a helping hand and an open heart. Now, it’s time for us to be there for her. She needs us, and I know that with the strength of our community, we can help her and her family through this incredibly tough journey.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. Together, we can make a difference in Breanna’s fight against cancer.

With love and gratitude,
Brittany Lakin
