My beautiful, smart, strong, active friend has just been given an ALS diagnosis. Over the last year, she has been slowly losing the ability to use her legs, and feeling in her arms. In the near future, she will need to go on full disability while raising 3 wonderful, bright kiddos. There are some treatments that she is going to try that will not be covered by insurance, but are very promising in possibly improving her situation. The first treatment alone is $10,000.
