Hi friends, it’s me, Breaker, and well, I could really use your help. As you may know, I’ve been having back issues and sadly, I’ve been getting worse. Today I woke up shaking in pain again and this time I could barely walk.

My neurologist thinks I have IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease,) but, we won’t know for sure until I have an MRI. All the crate rest combined with steroids and nerve pain medication are not helping enough. Mom and I are trying to be brave but honestly, we’re scared.

As you can imagine, a big part of being scared is not having the money to pay for the MRI and the surgery. Mom’s trying to keep it together but, it’s been a very rough few years for my teacher mom and she is stretched financially beyond belief.

The doctors say I’ll be able to walk & play again pain free once I get through this hard part. I am lucky they can help me. I'm only eight years old so, I have a long and happy life to look forward to and I need to be here for my mom & brother. I am their world after all. I know I can do it with all your help and support.
