Hi, my name is Bre'ahn Sharrnise Reese, and the only thing I want for my 22nd birthday is to be able to eat something solid. I've been struggling with severe dysphagia since February 28th, 2023. I've talked about it slightly online and plan to talk about it more because recently, I've been minimizing it so much in order to cope with how entirely hopeless and afraid I feel at times. I just moved into my first apartment via a shelter I used to live at, and while rent isn't much of an issue, my funds have been running low. So low that at the moment, I don't have enough supplementary drinks to last me until my EBT renews this month. So I'm hoping my body can handle just soup broth and mostly juice until then. I've been too embarrassed to say anything and even more so now that it's come to a "rock bottom point". My mom is doing everything in her power to help and support me along with my 3 younger siblings, but my needs are unfortunately more expensive than theirs and I need my own steady flow of income. I'd like to start a small business selling art pieces of my own creation. I know I can do it, I have the motivation, the heart. I just need the funds. All my life I've struggled with asking for help, especially before things got "too bad", and recently I've been encouraged to ask for help even if I feel like a burden. Of course that's easier said than done, but I've gotta start somewhere right? Anything, and I mean anything, helps. I'm seeking medical help, have been for a long time. But in the meantime, this would help me quite a lot. I hope that, if you aren't able to donate, you'll share my story, in hopes that maybe someone else can. Thank you
