Kevin Ellis, a long-time resident of Brea, is an incredible father to four wonderful children whom he loves dearly- Ryan, Kayla, Roman and sweet little Kinsley.
A little over a year ago, shortly before his 42nd birthday, Kevin got the most shocking news of his life - he had stage 4 colon cancer. Kevin has been valiantly battling this terrible disease while braving hospital stays, fighting through chemotherapy, undergoing surgeries and living the healthiest life possible. Even through the side effects and fatigue, he always shows up for every birthday celebration, school event…any opportunity to spend time with his family. No surprise to me, that’s just who Kevin is.
Despite all his efforts, including following ALL advice given to him by his doctors, the treatments that once worked are no longer working. Out of options and in the fight for his life, Kevin and his family’s only remaining option is to seek treatment abroad, which insurance will not cover.
Sometimes to provide hope, it takes an army. We are determined to help our friend, Kevin & his family, feel supported and raise money so that he can receive the care he needs to be able to make many more memories and watch his kids continue till grow.
