Hi!!! My name is Bre (: I’m a 28-year-old nursing student in New Orleans, LA. I’m currently struggling to cover my bills and school expenses while working part-time in order to focus on my studies. Any financial help will assist in paying for utilities, overdue and future car note payments, insurance, groceries, and school supplies for my last 2 semesters of my college career. I’m working extremely hard, not only to establish a sense of financial security for myself and my family, but to help create more safe, affirming spaces in healthcare where EVERYONE, including black and queer individuals like myself can feel seen, heard, and cared for. I’m passionate about making a real change in my community, but I am in desperate need of some community support in order to advance to that chapter of my life.
