Help Fight Brazilian Families Hunger

Hi my name is Averi. My friends Isaac, Trent, and Jesse are all taking a trip to Brazil for our senior trip. Isaac’s family is Brazilian so we will be staying with his family for some time while there. They enlightened us about the current struggle occurring in Brazil. Brazilian families are becoming increasingly hungry. Millions of Brazilian households have food insecurity due to job loss caused by the COVID lockdown. While we are there we would like to help the community that is struggling due to the COVID pandemic. We will be donating money to make basic family meal packs which include enough food to last a family of 4 for a month. Each one costs $20 US dollars. That means that for every $20 in US currency donated, we will feed a family of 4 in Brazil for a month! Please consider donating, even $1 helps. Currently every US $1 equals $5.50 in Brazil. Us Americans are privileged, and this is a meaningful way to use our privilege to show generosity to those who need it most.
