Help Brayden Heal After E-Bike Accident

Hello, my name is Nicole and my 4-year-old grandson was in an accident while riding on an e-bike with his father on 06/12/25. He was transported to Albany Med Pediatric Hospital where he underwent surgery to reattach the tendons and repair the joint and injuries to his left leg. Thank goodness his vital organs and head were unaffected. He cannot return to his preschool summer program at this time.

My daughter Meaghan is a barber and has had to take a leave of absence from work to care for him and keep him safe. He has been home with her since. It will be at least another 4-6 weeks before he can return to care outside of the home and is starting PT soon. Doctors have hopes of 90% recovery and not having to do another surgery, but it'll take some time. Due to this traumatic event, Brayden is dealing with emotional post-trauma along with the physical trauma and is uneasy staying with any unknown people. He wouldn't even let the nurses at the hospital assist him. His mother and I stayed with him while at the hospital and cared for him.

I am asking for assistance to attempt to get her through these next couple of months so she doesn't lose her vehicle or apartment. Any help is appreciated. Thank you and have a blessed day!
