On May 8th, Brayden and his family’s lives changed in an instant. Brayden was in a serious car accident that caused a spinal fracture at L1 and required major surgery to decompress and stabilize his spine.
While we are all incredibly thankful that surgery went well, Brayden is now facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. His injury is considered incomplete, which gives everyone hope, but spinal cord healing takes time, intensive therapy, medical care, and more strength than most people could ever imagine.
Brayden is only 18 years old, with his whole life ahead of him. He has already shown so much bravery through this, and his family has been right there beside him every step of the way. As many of you know, Jess and Jeff are the kind of parents who would do absolutely anything for there kids. Right now, they are trying to be by Brayden’s side as much as possible while also navigating missed work, travel, meals, medical expenses, rehabilitation needs, therapy, and whatever changes may be needed when Brayden is able to come home. This fundraiser is being created to help ease some of that burden so Brayden’s family can focus on what matters most: his healing, his comfort, and supporting him through each step of recovery.
Any donation, share, prayer, or encouraging message means more than words can say. Even if you are not able to give, simply sharing this page helps more than you know. Brayden is strong. He is loved. And he has a whole community standing behind him.
Thank you for helping support Brayden and his family during this incredibly difficult time. “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear…” — Isaiah 58:8
