Hello all — I am setting this page up for my friend, Bravite, who is 61 and disabled. We met last year and have been friends since.

I got to know Bravite's situation over the last year and now recognize how much help he needs. Over time, I've learned that Bravite is kind, caring, trustworthy, and honest. Unfortunately, he is also financially disadvantaged.

Bravite was born and raised on a piece of property that his family owned in Charles City County, Virginia. His family home fell under disrepair and was torn down in the '80s. He is now living on the family land in a small RV without clean water, septic, or electricity. Because the land is in this condition, the county is pressuring Bravite to leave his childhood home site. Bravite is emotionally attached to the property and wants to stay there, eventually having a clean, safe, and secure place to live.

The goals of this fundraiser are to:

1) Drill a well for clean water ($8,000*),

2) Install a septic field for sanitary waste disposal ($9,000*),

3) Establish electricity ($1,000*), and

4) File all necessary permits and applications with the county ($1,500*).

100% of the donations are going directly to help Bravite achieve his goals (above).

To date, our family has personally helped Bravite with legal support, Charles City County paperwork, and financed transportation when his last car broke down. We also plan on managing the project and have contributed the first $1,000 to get the ball rolling!
