Help BraveHeartsProject Become a Nonprofit
Donation protected
Hi! We’re Luanna Nogueira and Leslie Santos, two high school students with big dreams of becoming doctors and an even bigger mission—to bring awareness, support, and hope to children battling cancer.
We started a project called the BraveHeartsProject (BHP)—a youth-led initiative focused on raising awareness for childhood cancer, sharing stories of young warriors, and building a community that offers comfort, education, and inspiration.
Our vision is to host workshops, school programs, and community events to educate others about the realities of childhood cancer and empower people to take action. But to grow and make a real impact, we need to take the next step:
Become a registered nonprofit organization.
That process involves legal fees, filing costs, and paperwork—over $600 in total—which is why we’re asking for your support.
Your donation will help us:
File for Articles of Incorporation
File for The Bylaws
An EIN
A 1023-EZ status
File for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status
Fill out Form 100
Fill out Form 990-N
These stats help us access grants and partnerships to grow our reach so we can support families and children through advocacy and community programs
We are two high schoolers doing this with heart, hope, and zero funding—but a lot of passion.
If you believe in empowering youth, helping kids with cancer, or just making a difference in your community, please consider donating or sharing this page.
Together, we can turn BraveHeartsProject into something powerful, lasting, and life-changing.
Thank you so much for your support.
