Help brave boy Bruce with his ACL repair

Hi, my name is Bruce, but you can call me Wucey. I’m an 8 year old pit and I love going to work with my mom Chloe, long walks with my brother, and snuggling with anyone with a free lap. A few months back after a long day of playing at the grass patch I started limping so my mom took me to the dog-tor. They said I might’ve strained a muscle and that I needed to rest (borrrringgg). So I rested and rested… and my limp only worsened. My mom gave me lots of treats and kisses and told me we had to go back to the vet. They said I have something called a “torn ligament” and I need “a full ACL repair”, whatever that means.

My mom works with all these kids and my favorite thing to do is cuddle them on the couch while she talks to them about all kinds of stuff. Sometimes they get sad and I give them a stinky kiss and extra love. I haven’t been able to go to work with her for a long time and I think they really miss me over there.

My little brother Cooper is my very best friend. We like to play at the beach and run off into the sunset together. I haven’t been able to chase him in what feels like fur-ever.

My mom says I’m a very brave boy and that my surgery is going to cost an arm and a leg (too soon for leg jokes, mom). I really appreciate any help we’d receive and I promise to pay it back in smooches and snuggles, with interest.
