Brant is someone who has spent years doing one thing most of us never have to think about: fighting just to stay alive.

For over eight years, Brant lived with end-stage kidney failure, tied to a dialysis machine for 4 hours three times a week. Dialysis wasn’t a temporary hurdle—it was his life. Every week revolved around treatments, exhaustion, and the uncertainty of whether his body could keep going.

Through it all, Brant never gave up hope. That hope carried him through two kidney transplants, each one coming with its own complications, setbacks, and long, painful recoveries.

But the damage from years of dialysis didn’t stop there. The strain on his body led to serious heart complications. On Thanksgiving Day 2016 Brant suffered 5 heart attacks and since then has endured three open-heart surgeries to replace his aortic heart valve—each surgery a terrifying reminder of how fragile life can be, and how strong he has had to be to survive.

In October 2025, Brant faced his most recent open-heart surgery. While he focused on surviving and healing, something devastating happened—he lost his job. Suddenly, on top of everything his body has endured, Brant was left without income as medical and insurance bills, car payments, and everyday required prescription expenses continued to add up.

No one should have to choose between recovering from life-saving surgery and worrying about how to keep up with medical bills.

Brant is not someone who asks for help easily. He’s spent years pushing forward, showing up for treatments, surgeries, and recovery with quiet strength. Right now, though, he truly needs support.
