Over the weekend, my mom, Brandy, lost her house in a freak accident. Just a few months after the heartbreaking loss of her mother in August, my mom faced another unimaginable tragedy. While she was taking a nap, her home somehow became engulfed in flames.
By the grace of God, she made it out alive. But she lost everything—her clothes, her shoes, her belongings—everything. This shock is overwhelming, and she’s struggling to figure out how to move forward. My mom has never been one to ask for help, but we, her children, are asking on her behalf.


She would literally give her last to anyone, and has spent her life bringing light and laughter to everyone she meets. She’s trying to stay strong through this, but now it feels like she has nothing left to give.

In a miracle, a neighbor knocked on her door three times to warn her that the house was on fire, and it was the third time the neighbor opened the door that woke my mom up. She had just seconds to escape. The house was completely overcome by the fire almost immediately after. She lost every physical item she’s worked so hard for, but we are so grateful she’s still here.

We don’t take this miracle lightly, and we are asking for your help to get her back on her feet.
