This dog was rescued from the streets of Memphis just a few hours ago by one of my friends. My friend took the dog to AEC (a vet emergency center in the Memphis area that works with the local shelter - MAS) and was turned away. This little dog is clearly starving to death and is not putting any weight on one of her back legs. If that's not an emergency I don't know what is!

This dog is currently safe and sound (and quarantined from my dogs) and will be taken to the vet as soon as we can raise some funds to help pay for vet services. She is not chipped and we believe she is a puppy, although it's hard to tell given she barely weighs anything.

Any amount helps if you're abl to donate. We have donated everything else to her care, but could really use some help with what is sure to be a decently big vet bill. If you'd prefer to donate directly to the vets office, she will be going to Willowbend in Holly Springs , MS and she has been named Brandy (please mention her name if donating to Willowbend directly so they can apply it to her bill).

More updates to come!!!

Edited for change in vet.
