Right now my Aunt Brandy is walking through one of the hardest seasons a person can face.
Her mom, Carol Faye, is on hospice and requires around-the-clock care. Instead of placing her somewhere else, Brandy made the selfless decision to step in and be her full-time caregiver. That means she is with her 24/7, making sure she is comfortable, cared for, and not alone during the final chapter of her life.
But the reality of that sacrifice is heavy.
Because she is caring for her mom full time, she hasn’t been able to work. Bills are piling up and she is at risk of losing everything while doing the most loving thing a daughter could possibly do.
No one should have to choose between caring for their dying parent and keeping a roof over their head. Carolyn, brandy’s daughter, just left today to head back to Mexico and was trying to help while she could but she had to get back home to her husband and son.
I’m asking our community, friends, and anyone with a heart for helping families in hard seasons to consider donating. Every dollar will go toward helping Brandy stay afloat while she continues to care for her mom during hospice.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this and lifting them up in prayer.
Thank you for helping carry some of this burden so she doesn’t have to walk it alone.
